Michael Phelps Smoking Scandal Leads to Swimming Suspension

Well, well, peoples,

After those infos I posted before about Michael Phelps smoking marijuana pipe, here's updates on what happened to the--beijing-olympic hero. So yes, we know he smoked, and we know that sponsors still stuck behind him. But, it had ben confirmed that Kellogs won't extend their contract with Phelps, which ends this Febuary. While for US swimming, Phelps will be suspended from competition for 3 months, affective 5 February.

Oh count, count, count...

Wait! If it starts at Febuary 5, that means, he'll be able to tart competing at may 5, which also means, he won't missed any competition between his 3 month suspension!

And now we know what message US Swimming want to send to Michael Phelps: Learn this child. As long as you are talented, we can make it possible for you to keep competing. Don't worry, people won't know, because they think that we punished you with 3 month suspension already.

Is it Michael Phelp's luck, or, is it US swimming trick to not-exclude Phelps in any competition.

Well, you better watch out, Phelpsy. Dating Stephanie Rice is ok, but smoking marijuana? uh uh

OH yes, everyone know that inhaling cannabis pipe will make you swim rrreeeaaallyy fast! First, It's the marijuana, and, second, the pipe helps to train your breathing technique. I'm wondering why no one figure this out before, huh?!

Oh well, Michael phelps has said "I'm sorry" after his picture with bong revealed earlier this month. Sponsors said that they take no concern about the scandal, while US Olympic comittee has no comment about it. Whatever. He'd been in trouble before, don't you remember that 2004 news when he was 19 and sentenced with DUI?

We'll see if those olympic rules of banning athletes with drugs still rules for the world record holder, of winning 8 golds during one olympics season.

Just wanna say hi to Olympic triple gold medalist, swimming sensation, Stephanie Rice. * wave * . Gladly there's no more news about you hooking up with Michael Phelps whatsoever. And you even got Eamon Sullivan's name on your interview below. Thats good steph! I mean, come on. In case you'd forgotten, you've spent 2 years with that Oz Hawtie, which to me, worth more mentioning than those one week with that Baltimore what-you-name-it or with those Kleenex guys you met at bars. Alright, no, I think, I need to address that mentioning things to the news reporters, not to you. But seriously? Are there any chance of you two hooking up back, ex-es?

Bullied Stephanie Rice has body issues

OLYMPIC swimmer Stephanie Rice - who recently put on 5kg in seven weeks - has talked about her body issues and the painful bullying she endured in her past. The 20-year-old star of swimming, who bagged three gold medals at the Beijing Olympics last year, opened up about her life to the Australian Women's Weekly.

Rice admits to being body conscious and determined to get back into shape after piling on weight, once her gruelling training schedule relaxed.

"I put on five kilos in seven weeks," she said.

"I did a photo shoot for (underwear brand) Davenport recently with Eamon (Sullivan, her ex-boyfriend who is so lean and looks awesome all the time -- and then there's me, five kilos heavier than the last time we shot a campaign together."

Rice also spoke out about being bullied as a teenager. The star swimmer says she was the victim of nasty schoolyard pranks and hurtful teasing.

It's hard to imagine the successful young women, with a legion of fans, struggled to be accepted when she was younger.

"I was bullied and picked on as a kid," she said. "It started when I was about 10. I guess I was an easy target, as I had no self-confidence.

"I went through a stage where I didn't have a lot of friends - just one or two - and the popular girls used to call me names, tease me and do nasty things, such as take things out of my lunchbox and hide my school bag so I couldn't find it.

"I would go home and cry. It was really upsetting and I felt helpless.

"It wasn't easy for my parents, either, as I felt it was something I needed to deal with on my own."
